Robert Norris Man of Iron Foundation
Showing What's Possible Through Endurance, Education, and Community
The Robert Norris Man of Iron Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to challenging assumptions and redefining human potential through endurance sport, storytelling, education, and community engagement.
Through Robert's endurance journey, the Foundation inspires individuals, families, schools, and communities to believe that no label or perceived limitation defines what is possible.
Our Current Mission
Robert is preparing to become the first athlete with Down syndrome to participate in The Great World Race, taking on a full marathon each day for seven consecutive days while traveling around the world.
This world-first attempt is about more than endurance. Through his training and competition, Robert is putting the Foundation’s mission into action—showing what’s possible through discipline, perseverance, resilience, and the courage to pursue extraordinary goals.
